From 1 April 2013 legal aid for family law in England will be limited to cases where there is a history of domestic abuse, child abuse, representing children, support of mediation, mediation and the left-behind parent in child abduction cases under the Hague Convention. Everyone else will now have to pay privately or represent themselves. This is of course deeply worrying.
We do not deal with legal aid. Please contact a family lawyer with a legal aid franchise.
